Introduction

By creating this blog style portfolio I engaging in a meaningful reflective process that will hopefully do the following:

• enhance student learning
• recognize and reinforce my own teaching practice
• enhance my own professional practice by tracking the pursuit of professional development and profession goals

The following portfolio is structured around the Shanghai American School Performance Evaluation Pilot Program and thus is currently guided by it's vision, mission, core values and expected school-wide learning results. The program is set up to be a three year process in which I demonstrate evidence of preset standards and benchmarks.

My First School Blogs

Aquaticscenter.saschina.org is the blog I created to share what is happened in the arena in which I taught. The blo was set up for two main reasons:

1. to share and achieve learning experiences with others
2. to facilitate communication between stake holders

You will see it referenced and linked throughout my portfolio for the main reason that it is the 2.0 platform that I use the most with students.
